Reminiscing the future

Seldom the sun of the past shines so bright
Giving the denizens new hope and delight
Penetrating through the mist of yore
Spreading across the hearts spread wide
Warming them to the core
Old dreams are flouted and set aside

Yet one swims in the midst of grey
Fighting the long drawn battle between love and betray
But the essence of the life is much too strong
The air becomes still as the heart beats are long gone
Memories flashes past in the arms of time
Sins are committed in the name of crime

The future drops in, in the midst
To relocate the lost treasures of the past
Guiding the ship with a new found mast
The courage grows brave and high
Touching the alter high up in the sky
Ruling the world like the king of beast

Still some mouth the word of the past
Cowering in the heat of the future
Hovering in the minds of new torch bearer
They succumb to the odds of the way
Though their minds remain frail and gay
It is here that they fall in the future holocaust

But then arrives the new dawn
And so does approaches the new behemoth
It is however not the time to lament
As the sky goes darker
The images remain blurred and the water goes murkier
The two worlds collide and are left to brawn

Hence began the parting of the ways
Everyone awaits as the future approaches
The lights are sure to ruffle the feathers
Happiness encroaches the dark cheerers
Thus the lives are tamed
And behold! Only the future to be blamed
